Is air con expensive to run?
Modern air conditioning systems are extremely energy efficient and cost far less to run than most people expect. Do I need planning permission?
In most domestic installations, planning permission is not required. Wall-mounted systems are usually classed as permitted development, provided they are installed correctly and positioned appropriately. There can be exceptions for listed buildings or conservation areas, but we’ll always advise you before any work begins. Every installation is carried out to current UK regulations and REFCOM standards.
